These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HomePost website at homepost.com.au and related services ("HomePost", "we", "us"). HomePost is owned and operated by XTO Pty Ltd. By using HomePost you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Everything on HomePost, including listings, estimates, suburb statistics, risk information, insights and news, is general information only. It is not financial, legal, taxation, valuation or property advice, and it doesn't take your personal circumstances into account. Property estimates are automated and indicative only, and aren't valuations. You should get independent professional advice and do your own checks, such as building, pest, strata and title searches, before making any decision.
Information on HomePost comes from third-party and public sources, including real estate listings, government data and contributions from users. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we don't guarantee that any information is complete, accurate or up to date. Listings may be withdrawn, sold or changed without notice. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't responsible for errors or omissions.
You may need an account to use some features. You must give accurate information, keep your password secure and tell us about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.
HomePost lets users discuss properties, suburbs and listings. When you post content you must not:
You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt it in order to operate and promote HomePost. We may moderate, edit or remove any content at our discretion. Opinions posted by users are their own and don't represent HomePost or XTO Pty Ltd.
You must not scrape, copy in bulk, resell or systematically extract data from HomePost. You must not interfere with the site's security or operation, or use HomePost for any unlawful purpose.
Some reports and features may be offered for a fee. Prices, inclusions and billing terms are shown at the time of purchase. Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
The HomePost name, logo, design, software and original content belong to XTO Pty Ltd or its licensors. Third-party data is used under licence and remains the property of its owners (see our About page for data attributions).
HomePost may link to third-party websites, such as real estate agencies. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Some rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law can't be excluded. Apart from those, and to the maximum extent permitted by law: HomePost is provided "as is"; we exclude all implied warranties; and we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information on the site. Where our liability can't be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the relevant service again, or the cost of supplying it again.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms take effect when we publish them on this page. Your continued use of HomePost means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and of the state or territory in which XTO Pty Ltd is registered. You submit to the jurisdiction of the courts there.
